Become a BBQ Master by attending our BBQ Boot Camp in Indianapolis, IN. These boot camps are led by Chris Marks, 8-time Grand Champion of the American Royal BBQ Cook-off. Learn the techniques. tips and other insights to become a true BBQ Maestro! Mr. Marks covers the entire smoking process from prep to completion, highlighting common pitfalls to avoid and which smokers provide the best results.
Learn how to:

· Identify what types of wood and charcoal to use.
· Make your own marinades, rubs, injections, and more!
· Avoid the common pitfalls of smoking and grilling.

BBQ Boot Camp 101 – Day 1 - Chicken & Rib day - Each attendee will be supplied with their own set of ribs to prepare along with Chris as he provides one-on-one help and step-by-step instruction. All and any questions thoroughly answered. Ribs will be smoked during class and yours to take home for dinner!
BBQ Boot Camp 102 – Day 2 – Butts & Briskets – Learn the ends and outs of proper smoking. And which seasoning works best for the preparation. Chris will teach you great ways to lock in the flavor and get the perfect outer layer of crust from reverse searing.
The Tailgating Class - Create delicious smoked wings, hamburgers, pork tenderloins, meatballs, and more in just under 2 hours. Be the MVP at any tailgating party!
Holiday Meat Class - BBQ can come in many different forms. Around the holiday's we like to step it up a notch, and add more of a decorative, artistic style to the meat we prepare. Smoked dishes such as Crown Roast of Pork or Lamb and Standing Rib Roast, create not only a delicious meal, but brings a unique centerpiece to the table. Other dishes enjoyed especially during the holidays include Turkey and Prime Rib.
There will be plenty of sampling, tasting, and eating, so come hungry!

To ensure that you have a seat register early, classes sell out quickly. If something comes up we understand, and all fees are refundable up until 45 days before class. Fees will be non-refundable 30 days prior. BBQ Maestros must purchase perishable meat for each class. BBQ Maestros reserves the right to cancel BBQ Boot Camp in the event of low class registration. In the event of class cancellation, all fees will be refunded to participants.
Classes are held indoors, No need to worry with the weather!
